Aries Medicine

Hey loves! I’ve created some medicine to help you embrace the fiery energy of Aries (my sign)- I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Spring Cleaning

Ok this may not sound like fun, but I promise it will feel so good! Spring is a time when we can clear out the heaviness of winter in our bodies and in our space! Go through your home and throw out anything you haven’t used in a year- old clothes, paperwork, books and clutter. Open up the windows, burn some sage and make this potion to cleanse AND protect your space. Wash the window frames, floors and door frames.

RECIPE:

  • White Sage

  • Rose Petals

  • Cinnamon

  • Cloves

  • Black Salt

  • Sandalwood Powder

  • Smokey Quartz, Rose Quartz + Citrine Crystals

  • Thieves Essential Oil by Young Living (5 drops)

Boil herbs in a pot of water + steep to make a tea. Once it cools, add essential oil, crystals, prayers and blessings. Add to a spray bottle or a bucket and get cleaning!

Get Moving

If there is one thing Aries people love, it’s to move! They are full of energy and moving is very important to ground and release all that fire. This month- try to commit to a MINIMUM of 15 minutes of movement per day, even if it’s just a walk. But i highly recommend anything that makes you sweat- dancing, running, lifting weights- whatever you enjoy. Play with different ways to move and stoke your inner fire. Extra points for yoga twists that also help to stimulate digestion and detox the body.

Candle Meditation

The fire center chakra is known as the solar plexus or manipura chakra. This chakra is associated with Aries and it governs our will power and our ability to overcome shame. It is also associated with mental clarity, we burn away the toxins and fears so we can see clearly. I love this meditation as a simple way to connect to our inner fire. You can also add essential oils of Lemon, spikenard or any citrus and citrine, pyrite or ruby stones for some extra oomph. I place the oil right on my solar plexus and hold the crystals in my hand. Then light a candle and gaze at the flame for a few moments. When you feel ready, close your eyes and imagine the flame in your center.
